Kuala Lumpur (Reporter):– YBhg.Datuk Abang Sallehuddin Abg Shokeran is reappointed as the Director General of Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka (DBP) by the Malaysian Government. Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka (DBP) is the highest Government Literary authority for Malay Literature in Malaysia and comprises patronage of all the Malaysian Universities and writers unions.The founder of Motivational Strips, the worlds most active writers forum Shiju H Pallithazheth, it’s Forum Director Sabrina Bryant and Sr Advisor (Malay Literature & Translations) Dr Raja Rajeswari Seetha Raman congratulated Ybhg.Datung Abang Sallehuddin Abg Shokeran on the occasion. Shiju H. Pallithazheth stated that this move is a reassurance to Malay literary aspirants and established authors and beneficial to Global Literature. He praised the Government of Malaysia strategic decision. Dr Raja Rajeswari Seetha Raman said that Motivational Strips and Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka (DBP) will work closely to enhance the relevance of Malay literature on the global front.
